Security awareness, live at Rich River Golf Club
Cyber security isn't only firewalls and software — most trouble walks in through the inbox, aimed squarely at people. So we took our Security Awareness Training on the road to one of the district's busiest venues: Rich River Golf Club, where we set up in the function room and ran a session for their team.
The format is deliberately un-corporate. No two-year-old American training video; instead, the actual scams doing the rounds locally — the fake invoice, the 'your mailbox is full' link, the text pretending to be the boss — pulled apart on the big screen so everyone can see exactly what to look for.

Sessions like this pair with simulated phishing and an honest Essential Eight assessment, so a business can see its risk drop over time rather than just hope it has. Clubs, clinics, yards and offices across the region are working through the same program.
