Most days it's offices, yards and clinics. Some days it's a timber wheelhouse on the Murray. When one of Echuca's historic paddle steamers needed proper connectivity on board, the job landed with us — and it's exactly the kind of problem our crew enjoys.
A hundred-year-old boat doesn't come with cable trays. Getting a stable network from the bank to a vessel that moves means a point-to-point wireless link, an antenna placed where it keeps line-of-sight, and cabling routed through century-old timber without leaving a mark on it. Then a workstation set up in the wheelhouse so the crew can do the paperwork side of running a riverboat.

It's a long way from a server rack — and it's a perfect example of what 'local IT' really means out here. No two jobs are the same when your patch runs from the wharf to the back paddocks, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
